Also, a quick note – there will be spoilers included in this blog post for the previous two books – Defy and Resist. I guess it kind of makes sense since this is about the third book, but also it doesn’t hurt to give a warning!
Quick Look At Elude
Okay, we’re gonna speed through some details about the book, just to give a quick pic of what it’s gonna be about!
- Who does the book focus on? This book will focus on Albrecht Fitzi, the Nazi Captain that Annabelle ends up in a relationship with at the end of Defy/Elude and Dimitri’s favorite person to hate. We’ll finally get to see the very interesting backstory to a character shrouded in mystery and someone who has been an intriguing character since day 1 with his very different personas.
- How similar is it to Books 1 & 2? Elude, as the third book of the series is very much similar to the vignette style of the first two and also continues to follow the same format of the “mini-stories” within chapters. We also have the chance to see some of Albrecht’s POVs of certain situations and the never ending amount of foreign words is still definitely included.
- Is this the last book of the series? For now, yes, I do believe so as I don’t have any current concrete ideas regarding continuing the series. I do have an idea regarding the formatting of all of the books (the possibility of a nice little Christmas present… stay tuned!).
- How long is Elude? It looks to be about 138 pages, so definitely longer than the first two (yay!).
- What is the cost of the book? This book, since it is longer than the other two, it is a bit pricier (not by much though because I’m more just aiming to get this out there and not exactly trying to fund my life with writing lol.)

I can’t describe how excited I am to be sharing this book, as it is the grand finale to a series I started back in 2021 (and long before then as a rough idea!). It’s full of espionage, romance, and a climatic ending you won’t see coming!
