Update!

Okay, I know y’all are getting spammed with posts from me this week – I’m trying to keep y’all updated as new things come out. So, here’s one last one (right now) for the week:

After some looking into places where I can publish stories, I’ve decided to move Secrets of the Forest from Wattpad to Kindle Vella! 🥳

What is Kindle Vella? Kindle Vella is an online platform through Amazon.com that publishes a story one episode at a time. Readers can unlock episodes by purchasing and redeeming Tokens, however, readers can still read the first three episodes in a story without redeeming Tokens. (From what I see, it costs about $2 for 200 tokens – an average chapter on my part is about 20 tokens – however, it looks like you get some free tokens when you sign up!)

Do you need a Kindle? NOT AT ALL! You can access the platform right on your computer or phone!

So, starting today, Secrets of the Forest will no longer be available on Wattpad and will soon be available on Kindle Vella. Since I cannot have a free version up on the internet at all if I want to publish on Vella, I have to take down the one on Wattpad. 😔

Don’t worry – I’ll still be putting up some short stories I write on Wattpad later on, so don’t rule out Wattpad for good! For now, I’ll update you when Secrets of the Forest goes LIVE on Kindle Vella!
